After working as an executive at Warner Brothers for fifty years, the guest of honor deserved an epic retirement party. We required a space that could accommodate over fifty guests for a sit down dinner, yet felt intimate, and desired an Old Hollywood vibe, so Sunset Tower was the perfect venue. The night began with cocktails and tray passed hors d’ouevres poolside and moved inside for a three-course dinner in the Tower Bar. One long table was set up down the center of the room, which enhanced the welcoming atmosphere. White linen tablecloths provided a nice backdrop for the dark blue linen napkins from La Tavola, beautiful navy and gold flatware from Casa de Perrin, and custom menus with hand drawn calligraphy. A stunning combination of white taper candles, white flowers in gold bud vases, slate colored votives, and greenery created a long, elegant centerpiece. During the celebratory dinner, guests gave heartfelt speeches before the man of the hour told entertaining stories from his career and thanked everyone for coming. As the celebration wound down, guests were given custom WB cookies as a sweet way to end a festive night.
